“If you want to play games, step one is pick up a controller. If you want to learn more about games, step one is to stop reading about them on the internet.”
Life is simply too short to seek out imperfections and critiques in the people and things we love the most. The mission of ++Good Games (Double Plus Good Games) is to simply share our love and knowledge of video games and highlight the joy they bring.
This ever-expanding games industry shows no signs of slowing down. New gamers are coming onboard every day and older gamers are spreading the gamer-demographic across five (or more) decades. With iPhones, 3DS and downloadable games lowering the barrier for entry into this pastime, we are absolutely in a Golden Age of gaming. As new people are drawn into gaming, they simply cannot know where we came from or what makes a good game.
++Good Games is about celebrating the best games, the best developers and the greatest experiences this industry has to offer. Along the way we want to share what has made this industry so exceptional these past 40 years.
Feel free to listen in and, if you stick with us, we’ll make sure you understand that we are speaking from our passion, experience and absolute joie de jeux we carry in our hearts and faces everywhere we go. We hope you enjoy your time with the show and thank you all in advance for listening and taking a chance on being positive and having fun.

* (Additionally, if you enjoy games like M.U.L.E., Archon, Jet Set Radio, Ico, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shadow of the Colossus, MGS, Bayonetta, DMC and more, then ++Good Games may be right up your alley.) ** ++Good Games is based on the concept of “Newspeak” proposed in George Orwell’s book “1984.” Newspeak stemmed from idea that there were simply too many words to describe the same thing. The basic concept behind Newspeak was to remove all shades of meaning from language boiling dialog down to simple dichotomies: pleasure and pain, happiness and sadness, good and evil. *** Double Plus Good (++Good) is made possible with a generous grant from the Bauer Graphics corporation.
